Bomb Blast in Bengal’s North Kashipur, Block 2, Bhangar in Bengal resulted in 5 persons receiving severe injuries on Monday night at 3 AM.
The police suspect that the blast was an accident at a primitive bomb-making unit within the area. One of the injured is a member of ISF panchayats. All 5 people who were wounded from this blast were immediately rushed to SSKM Hospital in Kolkata.
North Kashipur region experienced an explosion just hours before vote counting. It was one of the most heated campaign periods for elections ever witnessed by Kashipur region in Bengal while Bhangad even saw violence during polling.

All the 5 injured people who spoke to ABP Ananda hospital sources were said to have been aged between 25-35 years and ISF supporters. They are reported to be having burns between 30%-50%. Another one, however, is badly hurt.
Yet it is hard for doctors to say if they are first or second-degree burns or some other kind of wounds caused by thermal fire Sources claim that these could also have been flame burns.
The injured were carried into the hospital around 3 AM after midnight when there had been a blast about one hour prior.

Section 144 Imposed In Sandeshkhali
Section 144 was imposed in Sandeshkhali again because of a fresh wave of agitation. On the counting day, June 4, morning hours saw repeat issuance of the restrictions within Sandeshkhali. In Sandeshkhali’s Nazat Block 1, 20 regions within six gram panchayats are under Section 144.
These were the most intense poll issues in Bengal as allegations of sexual harassment and land grabbing were leveled against Sheikh Shajahan who has been suspended from TMC leadership now. The accusations resulted in far-reaching protests and violence in the region.
