Having won twice as the BJP MP for Raver in Maharashtra, she emerged with flying colors during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with a staggering victory margin of nearly 300000 votes.
Now into its hat-trick term, Raksha Khadse will form part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet.
Raksha has been married into Eknath Khadse’s family who is an NCP leader with Sharad Pawar faction and has now rejoined BJP.

Her political career began at a grassroots level where she became Sarpanch of Kothadi village before proceeding to join Jalgaon Zila Parishad.
Her early triumphs in the local political scene resulted in her election as a Lok Sabha member (MP) during the 2014 elections, beating NCP’s Manish Jain by a whopping 318,608 votes.

In Raver Raver Lok Sabha of the 2019 general election, Khadse was elected for a second term as a Member of Parliament (MP). She won against Congress’ Ulhas Patil with a margin of victory of 335,882 votes.
She held onto her seat in the Raver constituency in the Lok Sabha elections of 2024 where she defeated the nearest candidate from the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party by a margin of 2,72,183 votes.
According to her X profile information (information found on Raksha Khadse’s X account page), she has a great interest in women empowerment initiatives, child education, and farmer well-being.
She also pushed through for part funding for an irrigation plant at Raver and focused on issues such as water scarcity that affects the Jalgaon region so that suitable measures can be taken.
For Raksha Khadse who has been elected three times to run under the BJP ticket joining Narendra Modi’s Union ministry will be a symbol of resilience paid off.
