The Satnami community’s satanic spirits unleashed a Baloda Bazar protest. A mob turned up in the collector’s office on fire.
The Tehsil office, district panchayat building, and collector’s office were all burnt during this time. When police tried to disperse the crowd, there was a clash between them and protesters which left several policemen with injuries.

For years, Satnami people who felt deceived by the local administration have converged at the collector’s premises for protestation on Monday. It was then that thousands of people gathered together.

They however went past the security cordon when dialogue failed. The uncontrollable members of the Satnami community clashed with policemen deployed in those areas known as their strongholds before attempting to create chaos.
Around 3 or 4 thousand people were outside the office at that time. During this period, the crowd managed to set fire to both the collector’s office while also setting several vehicles used by the administration parked outside ablaze.
