The CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur Suspended Because of Kangana Ranaut, an MP as well as a Bollywood star at Chandigarh airport was charged with assault on Friday. This happened one day after her suspension due to the incident.
However, the female constable identified as Kulwinder Kaur who is said to have done this has already been suspended after the event occurred at Chandigarh Airport on Thursday when she was about to fly off to Delhi.
A case has been lodged against Kaur for this reason. The Indian Express reported that there was an FIR registered against her under Section 323 (assault) and 341 (wrongful restraint) of IPC.

Kaur’s action is believed to have resulted from certain statements made by Ranaut in the past.
In a now-viral video, Kulwinder Kaur can be heard saying, “My mother was there”, referring to Ranaut’s bold statement claiming that women in the farmers’ protest were paid ₹100 each to sit on Delhi borders.
“My mother sat with them when they were protesting [at] farmer’s place for Rs. 100/-. Now will she go and sit there? When she spoke my mother was sitting beside me,” stated Kaur in this video.

In a video posted on social media after the incident, Kangana Ranaut, who had just been elected as MP from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency, described the scuffle where she was slapped by Kulwinder Kaur, the CISF constable at an airport.

According to Ranaut, this attack may be plotted to connect with terrorism in Punjab. On Friday, Ranaut used her Instagram page to post two stories about her experience at the airport. She compared herself with former PM Indira Gandhi who was killed by her guards.
She added that when she approached him; he started talking to another person filming their incident. Ranaut implied as if the constable had some political interest in doing what he did.
