Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta’s Lakshya is Back in Theatres after 20 years to celebrate the anniversary. Farhan Khan directed the film.
Farhan Akhtar has said “This week, ‘Lakshya’ marks 20 years since its release. We’re happy to announce that it will be screened in select PVR INOX theatres for you to watch.”

‘Lakshya’ will hit cinemas again on June 21, Friday. About it, Farhan Akhtar wrote on X saying, “Come, relive the journey of a film that ignited countless dreams and inspired generations. Celebrating 20 years of Lakshya back in cinemas on 21st June (sic).”

About Lakshya Movie
In 2004, Farhan Akhtar directed ‘Lakshya.’ The film featured Hrithik Roshan as Karan Shergill with Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan playing their supportive roles.
It tells the story of a hopeless man called Karan who ended up in the Indian Army and changed his life positively. Kargil war is the setting for this storyline that depicts aspects of love for one’s country, personal development as well as endurance among soldiers.
It has been well-received by audiences due to its soulful music composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and superb performances. ‘Lakshya’ has become an iconography of inspiration in cinema because of its poignant message conveyed through its artistic flawlessness.
However, ‘Lakshya’ made 23.39 crore rupees at the box office and nonetheless received critical acclaim.
