One woman was completely astonished after she claimed to have found a dead mouse inside her Hershey’s chocolate syrup bottle which she supposedly bought online via ZEPTO.

In the footage, it is seen that she poured some syrup onto a spoon and allegedly discovered a few strands of hair. In addition, Prami opened the “sealed cap” and poured the syrup into a cup whereupon she saw a dead mouse. Also, someone from her family cleaned what they got and were taken unawares as they figured out it was a mouse that had died.

Social media user’s Response to this Incident
Social media users were equally enraged over the incident. “You can complain against Hershey to food safety and sue them for this,” a user said. Some of them suggested Prami should report Hershey’s about which Zepto is not guilty. “It is the manufacturer’s issue. Unless the product was sealed, then Zepto is not liable.”
“I’ve been seeing so many unhygienic practices in the last few days that I am horrified, I have stopped using most packed stuff and started eating healthily and only non-packaged products hoping one day I will completely stop it. Our elders had a healthy life because of these habits. Thank you for sharing,” another comment reads.
Her post has yet again sparked concern about food safety: “How do we know if there are problems with the product? It’s time for me to become vegan.”
