Former Indian cricketer and right-arm pacer David Johnson Dies after falling from the 4th floor in Bengaluru at the age of 52.
The cricketer played and represented India in 2 Test matches and took 3 wickets and as a domestic cricket player, he took 125 wickets from Karnataka.

It happened at SLV Paradise in Kanakashri Layout under the jurisdiction of Kottanur police station. This took place on Thursday at around 11:15 a.m. when he is believed to have jumped while there were people from his family inside their house.
The body was moved by the police from Kottanur Police Station to a hospital for post-mortem examination. It seems to be suicide, alleged depression. At present, information is being collected by Kottanur police.
“According to what we had been told he fell from the fourth floor of his residential building and was rushed to a hospital only for doctors to pronounce him dead,” said an official at PTI.
In India’s lone Test versus Australia Johnson scalped Michael Slater. In Durban during South Africa’s last test match against Australia Johnson played his final test match.

David Johnson’s Domestic Career
Playing for Karnataka he had a domestic career of 39 First-Class matches and was very successful in the local league. In the Ranji Trophy season of 1995-96, he achieved his best match figures of 10 for 152 against Kerela. His performance in the domestic set-up for Karnataka paved his way to the national side.
