Babar Azam is currently leading the Pakistan squad in a four-match T20I trip to England.
Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam had initially been nonchalant towards his sudden crowd of fans and was later seen standing by to click pictures with them in Cardiff.
In one video that spread like wildfire on all social media channels, Babar who had dressed in casual creamish attire could be seen requesting some of his supporters not to surround and take videos of him on the streets.

However, towards the end, he offered to take selfies with them. Security personnel were also present near where Babar was posing for selfies.
Babar Azam is presently leading the Pakistan team on a four-match T20I tour to England. The third T20I will take place in Cardiff on May 28th when Pakistan plays against Afghanistan. Pakistan lost the second match by 23 runs after their first game was abandoned due to rain.
This is a complete video. It's funny how people like him with these many followers can set Babar for hatred. For others, I would like to say it's always better to wait for a complete story before forming your opinions. https://t.co/2YiFj5mc7i pic.twitter.com/1uCr83I8xx

It comes as no surprise that Babar has such a strong fan base due to his being re-appointed as Pakistan’s white-ball captain ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Shaheen Shah Afridi handed over captaincy duties back to him after he took it from him under whose watch the Pakistani cricket team lost four out of five games played recently.
It should not be forgotten that coaching Pakistan is former Indian head coach Gary Kirsten who led India’s men’s cricket team to win their first World Cup title during ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
Both countries’ preparations for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup include this series against England which starts on June 2. The first match of Pakistan will be against the United States which are hosting them on June 6th.
In Bajar Azam’s case, his second game could be better than the one before as he scored 26 balls and made 32 runs. Moeen Ali caught him out leg before wicket (LBW). Fakhr Zaman had top-scored with a lightning-fast knock of just 45 off 21 balls.
Shaheen Afridi was in charge with three wickets. Nevertheless, previous Pakistan selector Ramiz Raja wasn’t silent about this left-arm seamer.
“He (Shaheen) needs to work on his slower ball and length delivery especially when there is not much help from the pitch; if he is bowling a fuller length without any swing, then it will be expensive,” said Ramiz Raja on his YouTube channel.
