In New York, Nassau County International Cricket Stadium witnessed the duo of Rohit Sharma lifts Hardik Pandya to celebrate after winning a T20 World Cup game on June 9, which was played between India and Pakistan.
The affectionate hug they exchanged after Hardik bowled out Shadab Khan in the seventeenth over indicated that all was well between them.
These celebrations follow recent reports suggesting a strained relationship between these two players while playing for MI in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Hardik’s day could not have started any worse when he fell to Haris Rauf on seven off twelve deliveries with one four in place. However, he made up for it with the ball as he ended up with figures of 4-0-24-2.
He also took Fakhar Zaman’s wicket besides getting rid of Shadab; Fakhar managed to hit one four and six runs from eight balls faced making thirteen in total throughout his innings.

Hardik’s efforts however did not go in vain and India beat Pakistan by six runs. In their 20 overs, the Men in Blue managed to restrict Pakistan to only 113 for 7. Barring Rishabh Pant, who scored 42 runs off 31 balls with six fours, Indian batters struggled.
With this win, India climbed to the top of the table with four points and a net run rate of +1.455 from victories in both their games. Next up will be Monank Patel’s USA on Wednesday, June 12th.
On that note, Pakistan is to perform miracles if they are going to make it through into the Super Eight.
