The survivors of the Jammu and Kashmir bus attack in Reasi, which was carrying pilgrims, recall the terrifying moments when they witnessed that the terrorists did not stop shooting at the vehicle even after it had ended up at a gorge until they were sure everyone was dead. They said all passengers kept quiet to appear dead.
“One of them told me there were about 6 or 7 perpetrators whose faces I could not see as they were wearing masks. What happened is that at first, they shot from all directions.
Hereafter it says these terrorists moved towards us while continuously firing shots to ensure that none of us would survive,”
To deceive them, we stayed quiet and feigned like we died. 30 minutes later, along with other travelers we took the bus to Vaishno Devi shrine from Shivkhorhi (Reasi) at around 6 pm. We became afraid and wanted only to go back home immediately.

The bus had children and ladies who all got hurt in this accident too. After 10 to 15 minutes police and locals reached here to help us out.”
Describing what occurred during a terrible assault, a survivor commented, “One attacker shot the bullet on our coach, also he continued firing for 20 minutes after it fell into a precipice.”
The bus driver was hit by a bullet that caused him to lose control of the vehicle and fall into a gorge.
According to police, the terrorists fired upon a pilgrims’ bus coming from a shrine in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, killing 10 people while injuring 33 others. Following the assault, the bus rolled down into a ravine.

An extensive hunt for these terrorists is underway. Quoting Home Ministry said that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been called in to investigate this incident.
To look through forest areas drones are being used and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has joined the search team also.
