According to the police, a male teenager of 17-Year-Old Driving SUV Hits Teen Girl in Ahmedabad and inflicted serious head injuries on her. The police have arrested the boy who was driving that Fortuner.
A Gujarat Police officer said he was not found under drugs or alcohol influence while driving. According to police, it was in the company of two friends when this accident happened.
N-division traffic police inspector KP Sagathiya stated this happened as she walked to the market near her house along Thaltej Road.
The girl injured was undergoing treatment at some hospital, according to him.
“The witnesses state that when this accident took place, Fortuner was speeding. After knocking down the lady, its driver lost control of it and thus it went into an empty plot nearby.
This is also one of the incidents where locals trapped him until they called for help from security officers,” added Sagathiya.

The Fortuner, a car owned by the older brother of a person accused of a crime who also happens to be a cop was found to have been registered in his name. The police are holding the suspect in custody.
“He was not under alcohol influence or drug influence,” stated Sagathiya.More facts are presently being established as regards this matter.
In one recent high-profile case, on May 19, a Porsche sports car, driven by an underage boy, rammed into a motorbike and killed two techies in Pune. The minor is believed to have drunk alcohol before causing the accident.
